|Newsletter and Staffing Update|
Bowls Scotland would like to announce some changes to our organisation’s staff that will come into effect in the near future.
Firstly we would like to announce that our Regional Development Officer Laura Kerr will go on maternity leave at the end of this month. With this upcoming departure we have made some adjustments to current staffing in order to ensure that this position was filled as quickly as possible at a crucial time of the season.
-Effective immediately Lawra Cox (current Office Manager) will be taking over as Regional Development Officer for the West and South West regions until Laura Kerr returns from maternity leave. As a current Internationalist in the Ladies Senior team and having undertaken the role of Office Manager for the past few months Lawra has an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by our clubs and how best to support them.
-The Office Manager for the period which Lawra Cox is Regional Development Officer will be Bowls Scotland District Secretary Graham Cole who will start in this role on Thursday 16th March.
In addition to this, our Marketing and Communications Officer, Cheryl Barr will be leaving Bowls Scotland on Thursday 23rd March. Bowls Scotland are currently implementing contingency measures and will be looking to fill this position in the near future. Details of any vacancies will be posted on the Bowls Scotland website.
Should you have any questions relating to the above changes, please do not hesitate to contact the Bowls Scotland office.
