|2016 Green Maintenance & Improvement Seminars|
Following the success of the 2015 Green Maintenance and Improvement Seminars, as part of its Volunteer Education Programme Bowls Scotland is offering another great opportunity for your club’s green-keepers and any other club volunteers interested in the maintenance of your bowling green to attend this year’s Green Maintenance and Improvement Seminars being run in partnership with Dennis & SISIS, Henderson’s Grass Machinery and Greentech Sportsturf.
How will this benefit you and your club?
This seminar will ensure that you have all of the knowledge and tips to successfully maintain your bowling club green to a high standard.
The Seminar will comprise a number of workshops and presentations:
There will be five Green Maintenance Seminars taking place across Scotland:
The cost of the seminar offers great value at only £5 per person (affiliated club members, £8 for non-members) including lunch.
To take advantage of this opportunity and to know everything you need to know about the maintenance of bowling greens, visit www.ticketsource.co.uk/bowlsscotland to book you place(s).
Places for the seminars are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment. These events are anticipated to sell out, therefore early booking is essential. There will be no admission on the day to anyone who has not pre-booked through TicketSource.
Here's what some of last year's attendees had to say:
“This is the best £5 I have spent in a long time!”
than I was expecting, even from conversations with other participants during the breaks."
"I learned so much and this knowledge has given me the confidence to not only discuss the greens requirements
with the contractor but also be more confident of doing more maintenance myself."
